I'm curious to know if UMS (Win10 & 8GB) work fine with your Bose SoundTouch 30 renderer ? Of course, if you absolutely need MP4 format and internal subtitle, that's an other story. If not, try to avoid that format, and choose a more well supported subtitle format, like SRT, ASS, SUB, that'll avoid you unecessary transcoding using your CPU power. You say that you edited your videos and added subtitles from CD source, but i don't think the original subtitle format was TX3G, isn't it ?
I recommend you to force the renderer called " Samsung JU6400", that will fit your renderer much better.

I tried to run UMS with Subtitles disabled, and the voice is in-sync but it exits the episode like 5 minutes later. Few seconds later it gets like a hiccup and things go out of sync. The movie starts with the fast forward and backward options greyed out. I have also tried to disable "Keep AC-3 tracks" in "Audio Settings" under "Transcoding Settings", but the out of sync still occurs. I have tried to change the ripping variables to no avail. I used Handbrake 1.0.1 and included the subtitles. I ripped the CDs so to be able to view them easier on the TV. My wife recently bought an old series "3rd Rock From The Sun". I have uploaded the shortest file that does this too. I have basic skills so I was not able to check of duplicate reporting.
